Oral Surgery is a medical specialty in charge of all surgical acts related to the extractions of teeth that present the impossibility of maintenance in the oral cavity, particularly teeth with very extensive and non-restorable caries lesions, teeth without bone support, teeth included, among others.

What procedures can an oral surgeon perform?

The early diagnosis of lesions of the head and neck region such as tumors and cysts, which are directly or indirectly related to oral structures, as well as the biopsy of some of these lesions and others that affect the mucosa, extraction of teeth, cyst enucleation, surgical windows, among others.
